Special Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi

Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed a Special Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi, marking 800 years since the saint’s death and inviting the whole Church into a renewed season of grace, peace, and spiritual renewal. Beginning January 10 and extending through January 2027, this Franciscan Jubilee calls every Christian to follow the example of the Poverello, the “Little Poor One”, by becoming witnesses of peace, charity, and holiness of life. During this time, the faithful may receive a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions, including pilgrimage to a Franciscan church or a site dedicated to St. Francis. In announcing the jubilee, Pope Leo XIV emphasized that St. Francis’ message is especially urgent in a world marked by division, conflict, and environmental harm. True peace, the Holy Father reminds us, unites peace with God, peace among peoples, and peace with all of creation.
May this Jubilee Year inspire hearts to deeper conversion, renewed hope, and a lasting commitment to live the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis.

Wednesday Evening Adoration

Featured

It is said that many blessings come from spending time with our Lord.  Here at St. Francis parishioners now have the opportunity to do just that in the evening!  Starting June 10th, every Wednesday evening (excluding the first Wednesday of each month) from 5-7pm the church will be open for Adoration. This gives you an opportunity to be able to come and visit Jesus on a more personal level.  It is a time for quiet prayer and reflection.  Just making that visit with Jesus can bring amazing growth within the spiritual life of the person and from that comes spiritual strength within the parish.

Whether you only spend ten minutes or an hour, each moment is a great treasure.  To learn more about what Eucharistic Adoration is all about visit
