The Office of Marriage Preparation & Enrichment is sponsoring the annual Wedding Anniversary Celebration honoring couples of the Diocese of Providence who will be observing their 25th, 40th, 50th and OVER 50 years wedding anniversaries in 2025. The celebration will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul, Providence. It will include Mass, renewal of marriage vows, a personalized certificate for each couple and a reception for the couples and their families. The Most Reverend Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski, C.Ss.R., will be the main celebrant and homilist. Please note: One or both of the spouses need to be Catholic, with the marriage recognized by the Church. The celebration is for couples; if it is not possible for both to be present, a certificate can be forwarded directly to the couple. Please contact the parish office at 783-4411 to register for this special celebration. Registration deadline is September 19th. |
