Third Annual Mass for Essential Workers

The Celebrant for the Mass will be the Most Reverend Richard G. Henning, Bishop of Providence. If you are a parishioner, and an essential worker, we would love to have you participate in the Entrance Procession for the Mass. Tri-parish Tent Revival: Living in the Spirit
The parishes of St. Pius X, St. Mary’s/St. James Chapel and St.Francis of Assisi/St. Romuald Chapel are hosting a three-night Tent Revival, “Living in the Spirit”. In 1959 Pope St. John XXIII is quoted, “Throw open the windows of the church and let the fresh air of the spirit blow through.” We believe God is calling for us to renew Pope St. John’s wishes and help keep the Holy Spirit flowing through the windows of the church and the windows of our hearts. Come join us July 24th, 25th and 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Road, Charlestown RI. Each night will begin with praise and worship music led by Christian artist Jon Polce, followed by teaching/witness talks on opening ourselves to allow the Spirit of God to live within us. The third night concludes with speaker and Evangelist, Walter Burke JR., of the “Burke Family Singers” fame, as he prepares us all with a deeper understanding of how to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
