We will be celebrating the feast day of our patron saint with a Triduum—a period of three days of prayer and celebration. Beginning on Wednesday, October 2 and running
through Friday, October 4 we will gather from 6-7pm in St. Francis Church. The first two nights we will have talks with adoration and the last night there will be a Mass which
will incorporate evening prayer. Fr. Joe Upton will give a talk on Wednesday, October 2 and Fr. Tim Reilly will give a talk on Thursday, October 3. On Friday, October 4, Fr. Ranallo will celebrate Mass. All are welcome to join us in praying to our patron saint!
Bring your dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, birds, fish, ferrets, chickens, turtles, etc. for a special St. Francis blessing by the statue of our patron saint.
Long-stem red roses will be available after all Masses on Saturday & Sunday, October 19 & 20. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Mother of Life Pregnancy Center in Providence. The Center provides free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, client advocacy, parenting classes, material goods for babies & moms, and much more. The suggested donation is $3 per rose. Are you or anyone you know interested in exploring the Catholic Church as their spiritual home? If you know someone - a spouse, relative, friend, neighbor, coworker who might be interested in becoming a Catholic, or was baptized in the Catholic faith but has not received the sacraments of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation, we will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Fr. Greenan Hall to provide an overview of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and to answer any questions. We are here to help you discern God’s will in your life. We will be accepting new and gently used coats, sweaters, sweatshirts for children and adults. Donated clothing may be dropped off at the lower church Monday, October 21st through Friday, October 25th from 9:30am to 3:30pm and Saturday October 26th by 9am. Anyone who is in need of a coat or sweater, can pick one up on October 26th from 10:00am-12:00 noon in the lower level of our church. See flyer for more details
Inviting all 7th - 12th graders to come check out our youth group, G1 (God first). We want to hear from you as to what want you want from youth gatherings and we want your help in decorating our youth space! And if time permits, we will go shopping for decorations and furniture at Marshall's! Bring a friend with you!
Each year during the holidays the Jonnycake Center distributes food to hundreds of families and seniors benefitting thousands of individuals. This Thanskgiving they are asking for donations of Turkey gravy, canned vegetables: corn, green beans, carrots. Boxed stuffing, cranberry sauce, quick bread mixes, pie crust mix, fruit pie filling (pumpkin), canned yams, boxed mashed potatoes. Our parish family has always answered the call when asked to help others less fortunate in our community. Thank you for your continued generosity! There will be receptacles in St. Francis Church and St. Romuald Chapel to collect your donations. See the flyer for more details.

The bazaar includes craft/vendors tables, a silent auction, bake sale, and a cafe for drinks and a lunch menu. Our crafters include pottery, jewelry, cards, ornaments, small paintings, knitting, candles, wood products, coastal decorations etc. Silent auction items include a week in a beautiful condo in MyrtleBeach and themed baskets. Come join the fun!
