St. Gabriel's Call provides supportive services to women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. Place donations in the collection baskets located in St. Francis Church and St. Romuald Chapel during the weekends of January 2025. Items needed: Diapers (All sizes up to 6/XL), Warm Sleepers (0-24 months), Warm Children’s Clothing (2T-4T, 5-6), Baby Wipes, Bibs, Infant Onesies, Pacifiers, Baby Blankets, Baby Bottles & Bottle Brushes. Cash donations are gratefully accepted: Checks to be made out to Retreat House.

Spring Food Drive to benefit Jonnycake Center vacation breakfast and lunch program
The Jonnycake Center of Peacedale’s vacation breakfast and lunch program benefits client’s children who participate in nutrition assistance programs at school. The food drive will run for two weeks, from March 29 thru April 6th. The foods being requested are: Cereal, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Soup (low sodium) Snacks, Whole Grain Crackers, Popcorn, Condiments: Ranch Dressing, Ketchup, Mustard. There will be receptacles in the church and at St. Romuald’s for the donations. Our St. Francis family has always answered the call when asked to help others less fortunate in our community.
